Job Description

Cogdill Farm Supply is now hiring seasonal scale operators to help with weighing inbound and outbound trucks and sampling grain during harvest.

• Position will begin in early September, through early November.
• Scale operators record weights using a computerized scale.
• Collect and grade grain samples using a remote-controlled probe and automated moisture tester.
• Print/collect scale tickets for our records and for customers.
• Flexible work hours are available
• Preference will be given to candidates who can work overtime/evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• All training will be provided; no experience necessary.
• Familiarity with farming or grain trucking is preferred.
• Candidates must have basic math and computer skills (familiarity with Microsoft Excel, ability to operate electronic scale, etc.).
